HOW TO OPTIMISE THE CLEANSE

pre-cleansing

 

It is very important to prep your mind and body for a juice cleanse. First of all, determine how long you want to fast. Set realistic goals, whether it's weight loss or better health. A cleansing plan won't transform your body or cure diseases, but it can boost your nutrient intake.

It is advisable to eliminate processed food, packaged food, caffeine, alcohol and sugary drinks, heavily cooked produce and fried foods  few days before you start the cleanse. And, you can start increasing your intake of raw veggies, fruits, greens, whole grains, and nuts. Lots of fresh produce like  green vegetables will help on gentle detoxification. 

MID-cleansing

 

 

We will provide you a schedule to follow during the cleansing. You may consider to clear your schedule of social events and also try to lighten your workload if possible. Always remember to keep yourself well hydrated and to get sufficient quality sleep  to support the elimination of toxins.

Wonder is it okay to workout during the cleanse?

if your body feels up to working out, go for it! Just remember, you may not be able to exercise as strenuously as you normally do, so take it easy. Low-intensity cardio, such as walking and yoga are some recommended options.  

POST-cleansing

 

 

Give your body time to adjust by slowly progressing from easily digestible, hydrating foods (fruit, cucumbers, leafy vegetables, avocados or any of our vegan soups) to the heavier, more filling foods (grains, lean meats, eggs). 

Stay raw and fresh for as long as you can.  Try simple veggies and fruits. Continue to drink lots of water and stay away from processed food in any form, as well as alcohol and caffeine. As long as you stick to a raw diet, you are technically still cleansing.

A cleanse is simply your entry point into long-term, sustainable health.
